It doesn’t matter whether you’re sitting in a aeroplane or a air conditioned vehicle there’s nothing more relieving and exciting than hitting the road with a bunch of friends. Road trips are the best ways to explore and discover the life across different places. Fresh air, great scenery and a wide open road is the freedom…. and it’s there for anyone with a set of wheels.

To mention, this is my first article I am writing for this blog. I love to travel and I chose this subject since it was my first turning point in becoming a traveller until the day when me and my bestiee planned a trip  to explore on a long motorcycle.

If you are ready with your motorbike then you are at the right place, here are some of the best road trips especially in South India that you can make.

1.    Visakhapatnam to Araku Valley

Best place for the people who love beauty of the road with greenery! The bonding of the Bay of Bengal and the Eastern Ghats in Vishakhapatnam are a sight to catch. The curly roads, verdant green canyons, serene hills, the gentle elevation makes it an amazing road trip in south India and will obtain a permanent place in your heart for an eternity.

Best to try: Borra Caves and Tatipudi Reservoir

2.    Chennai to Munnar

From all the way from steamy weather you will land into a place of chill weather, Greenery all the way! A trip to Munnar should definitely be on your to-do-list. The winding road and pleasant weather will make your trip a memorable one.

Best to try: Tiruchirappalli city of beautifully sculpted temples and fortresses Rock climbing, art of tea making and Paragliding

3.     Bangalore to Ooty via Mysore

This road trip calls out to nature lovers. The road from Bangalore to Ooty, nestled in the lap of the Nilgiri hills, is one of those journeys every road fanatic should undertake once in his lifetime. The roads are the perfect combination of green leafy calming and soul-refreshing forests of Bandipur as well as the historic palaces of the ancient city Mysore.

4.    Chennai to Pondicherry along the East Coast Road

Best and most beautiful roads for travelling on a cruiser motorbike.  The Sea on one side of the road is a sight to behold as the day grows nicknamed as the ‘Paris of the East’. The changing reflections of the Sun on the water as the day advances makes it most beautiful road around Chennai and set all for the best Photography sessions while on the road!

5.    Bangalore to Goa

The things you have to do once in a Life time and that too before you cross 30 will defiantly have this in the to do list. The road is alluring, calm and serene, with several Punjabi dhabas lining the course serving delicious food. Food for your stomach and for your soul- @foodlovers.

6.    Bengaluru to Nandi Hills

If you are a photographer and love to capture the beauty of nature in your camera, you should leave the comfort of your home in Bengaluru well before sunrise, to capture the rising sun in Nandi Hills. However, if you are a late riser and plan to reach the hills well after the sun has had breakfast, you can still explore more.

Best to try: Paragliding or trekking and Devanahalli Fort.

7.    Pamban Bridge (Rameshwaram)

You will see water everywhere you look? Sometimes, the infinite ocean under your feet and the moist breeze in your hair is all the therapy you need. Makes for a memorable road trip.

8.    Bangalore to Bandipur Forest

Forest is the most adventurous trip that can ever be thought. The Bandipur Forest route to Bangalore is one of the most beautiful trips through forests in India, that you’ll ever take and You might spot deer nonchalantly crossing the road.
